Learning Reiki
The word "Reiki" translates from Japanese to mean "divinely guided life force energy." Reiki is the energy that flows directly from Source, God, the Divine, however you understand it. When you become a Reiki practitioner, you're not being given something you don't already have; Reiki already runs through everything, including you. Training and attunement simply help you learn to connect directly with that energy and give you a clear format to follow when performing healing sessions for yourself and others.
Unlike most Reiki classes, this one-day intensive combines Reiki Level 1 and Reiki Level 2 into a single, thorough program built for beginners, with plenty of hands-on practice and the following subjects covered.

You'll be certified upon completion of the class, in the lineage of Usui Shiki Ryoho, the Usui System of Natural Healing.
Classes are held in person at New Earth Metaphysical, inside Acu-Health Holistic Center, 100 W. Camden Ave., Moorestown, NJ 08057. Free parking is available, and we're centrally located near the township center.
About Your Instructor: Faye has been practicing and teaching Reiki for 12 years. She completed her first Reiki Master training in 2014 in the lineage of Usui Shiki Ryoho, and recently completed a second round of training as a Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Master, studying directly under world-renowned Reiki teacher William Lee Rand.
Already completed Reiki Level 1 and/or 2, with Faye or another teacher? You're welcome to retake the class. Price remains the same, and you must attend the full class.

Reiki Training & Certification Class FAQ
Is it okay to take Reiki Levels 1 & 2 in the same day?
Yes. There is no universal rule requiring Reiki Levels 1 and 2 to be taught separately or that students must wait a certain amount of time between levels. Different Reiki teachers have different teaching philosophies. I have successfully taught both levels together for many years because I believe students can receive a comprehensive foundation while maintaining the integrity of the Reiki system. The class is structured to provide plenty of instruction, discussion, hands-on practice, and both Reiki attunements before certification. The founder of Reiki, Mikao Usui, and Hawayo Takata, who brought Reiki to the United States, were said to have frequently taught all 3 classes together without waiting periods.
Do I need any experience to take this Reiki training?
No. This class is designed for complete beginners as well as those who already have an interest in holistic healing. No previous Reiki experience is required.
How many levels of Reiki are there?
There isn't one universal answer because there are several different Reiki lineages and teaching traditions. While the original Usui Reiki system traditionally consists of three levels—Reiki Level 1, Reiki Level 2, and Reiki Master (Level 3)—some modern lineages have chosen to divide the training into additional levels, such as four, five, or even six levels.
Neither approach is "right" or "wrong." They simply reflect different teaching philosophies and lineages that have evolved over time.
In my classes, I teach the traditional Usui Reiki system. Reiki Levels 1 and 2 are taught together in one comprehensive class, providing students with a solid foundation in Reiki healing and preparing them to confidently begin practicing Reiki. Students who wish to continue their training may later choose to take Reiki Master training.
Over the years, I've found that students benefit from learning Reiki Levels 1 and 2 together because it provides a complete foundation while maintaining the integrity of the traditional Usui Reiki system.

Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. At the end of the class, you will receive a certificate declaring you as a Reiki Level 2 Practitioner and will be qualified to start practicing Reiki with the public immediately.
How long is this Reiki certification class?
This Reiki certification class is 7 hours long, including a break for lunch.
Will we have hands-on Reiki practice during class?
Yes. You will exchange healing sessions with the other students in the class, as part of your training. It is a requirement to receive your certification.
Can I practice Reiki professionally after completing this class?
After completing Reiki Levels 1 & 2, many students practice Reiki on themselves, family members, friends, or begin offering Reiki professionally if they choose.
Do I need to do anything to prepare before the Reiki class?
No special preparation is required before attending this Reiki Level 1 & 2 Certification Class. There is no need to fast or follow a special diet beforehand. While you may come across websites or Reiki teachers who recommend fasting or other preparation rituals before receiving your Reiki attunements, these practices are based on individual teaching preferences rather than any universal Reiki requirement.
The most important thing you can do is arrive with an open mind, wear comfortable clothing, stay well hydrated, and get a good night's sleep before class. If you take prescription medications or have dietary needs, continue following your normal routine unless instructed otherwise by your healthcare provider.
My goal is to make the class welcoming and accessible to everyone, whether you're completely new to Reiki or have already experienced Reiki healing.
You don't need to be "perfectly prepared" to receive Reiki. Simply come with a willingness to learn, participate, and enjoy the experience.

Because I continue to work with clients on a regular basis, you'll learn not only the traditional teachings of Reiki, but also practical knowledge gained through years of real-world experience. My background as both a Reiki Master Teacher and Shamanic Healing practitioner gives me a broad understanding of energy work while keeping the Reiki training itself true to the traditional Reiki system.

Faye was attentive, highly experienced, and down to earth - we spoke to her freely and she shared her wisdom and experiences with us generously. I am so glad I was able to complete my reiki training in one day versus other courses that require multiple days and more money. This was comprehensive while still not being long and unnecessarily tedious. Definitely register for this course if you’re looking to get more serious about your spiritual path and healing. Her organization with notes during class kept me from not having to write almost anything so I was able to have more eye to eye contact with her and the videos that she sent me after I completed my certification made me extremely comfortable with practicing Reiki on others. I liked that I was able to switch off Reiki sessions with her in class and to have the small setting of a classroom to take in the information that I learned. She had abundant material for the students to take home and study later for better retention to reference as needed. Faye is open to Spirit and generous with her information and gifts.
